A procurement head buying an air conditioner for their brand is really buying a number: the rated ISEER on the label. That number comes from a psychrometric test, and an NABL-accredited laboratory is what makes it defensible.
Ezentech runs that laboratory itself, inside an ISO 9001 quality system and an ISO 14001 environmental system, and manufactures BIS-certified product ranges.

test measures.
A citable summary of the test behind the rated figures on every Ezentech specification sheet — and the ISEER values it produced.

- Cooling capacity
- The heat removed from the indoor air per hour, in watts — 3,400 to 6,300 W across the sheet — measured with indoor and outdoor rooms held at controlled temperature and humidity.
- Power input
- The electrical power the unit draws while delivering that capacity; with capacity it gives the efficiency ratio.
- ISEER
- Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio — cooling delivered per unit of electricity over a full Indian cooling season, as rated under the BEE star-labelling scheme. Higher is more efficient.
- Airflow
- The indoor air volume delivered, in m³/h — 850 to 1,100 m³/h on the sheet — set by the fan, the coil's resistance and the fascia's intake and outlet.
- Sensible and latent split
- With humidity controlled, the test separates dry-bulb cooling from dehumidification — the difference between a room that feels cool and one that feels dry.

What is NABL accreditation?
NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredits a laboratory's competence to carry out specific tests. For Ezentech's psychrometric lab it means the capacity and ISEER measurements are made under an accredited, audited method.
What does a psychrometric test measure?
With indoor and outdoor conditions held at controlled temperature and humidity, the test measures the unit's cooling capacity, its power input and the resulting efficiency ratio, and the airflow delivered — the figures printed on the specification sheet and the BEE label.
What is the difference between a 3-star and a 5-star unit?
The BEE star band is set by rated ISEER. On the Ezentech sheet, 3-star split models are rated 4.35 and 5-star models 5.65; window models are rated 3.35 (3-star) and 5.20 (5-star).
Are test results shared with brand partners?
Performance results for a partner's programme are part of the engagement; how they are reported is agreed in the RFQ.
