- ISEER
- Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio — cooling delivered per unit of electricity across a full Indian cooling season, as rated under the BEE star-labelling scheme. The 5-star split models are rated 5.65; the 3-star models 4.35.
- Electronic expansion valve
- The 5-star split models replace the fixed capillary restrictor with an EEV that modulates refrigerant flow with load — the single largest step in seasonal efficiency on the sheet.
- A second condenser row
- The 5-star split models carry a two-row 805 × 23.04 × 546 mm condenser coil in the 900 × 360 × 600 mm outdoor cabinet, against one row in the 3-star cabinets — more surface to reject heat at part load.
- DC indoor fan motors
- Every split model uses a DC indoor fan motor (35 W at 1,280 rpm on the 830 and 930 chassis; 57 W at 1,350 rpm on the 1100), so indoor airflow can be trimmed to the inverter's output.

What does ISEER mean on the specification sheet?
Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio: cooling delivered per unit of electricity across a full Indian cooling season, as rated under the BEE star-labelling scheme. Higher is more efficient — the 5-star split models are rated 5.65, the 3-star models 4.35.
What changes between a 3-star and a 5-star model?
On the sheet, the 5-star split models carry a two-row condenser coil (805 × 23.04 × 546 mm) in the larger 900 × 360 × 600 mm outdoor cabinet and an electronic expansion valve (EEV) instead of a capillary tube. The indoor chassis, fan and compressor type are shared.
Are all Ezentech models on R32?
Yes. Every model on the current sheet uses R32, which has a lower global-warming potential than R410A and a higher volumetric capacity, so charge sizes are smaller.
